Sautéed Beef and Shishito Pepper with Butter Soy Sauce

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 5 oz sliced beef
  • 15 shishito peppers, stems removed and sliced diagonally
  • 1/2 red capsicum, seeded and cut into 1/4-inch strips
  • 1 oz fresh ginger, cut into thin strips
  • 1 oz butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Prepare the shishito, capsicum, and ginger as described above.

  2. Step 2

    Heat a pan to medium-high, add the butter, and cook the beef until browned.

  3. Step 3

    Add the shishito, capsicum, and ginger and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the soy sauce, toss to coat, and remove from heat.
